Emma Willemse

Emma matriculated from Collegiate Girls’ High School in Port Elizabeth in 2016 as a well-rounded student leader with a passion for social justice.

She completed a LL.B. Degree at Stellenbosch University in 2020 having been a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society as well as a Law Mentor to first year law students. She has since registered for an LL.M. in Human Rights and International Law through the University of South Africa, this in order to refine and further her expertise in the field and pursue her ambition to assist those who have suffered from human rights injustices and uplift the broader community of South Africa.

While Emma is personable and adept at managing sensitive situations, her drive and efficiency bode well for her keen interest in litigation. Emma has been signed as the first Candidate Attorney of Maartens & Le Roux Attorneys and shows promise and determination to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients of the firm through her diligence and enthusiasm for the law.
